A brand identity for the College of Visual & Performing Arts at UMass Dartmouth, with a focus on the symbolic brutalist structure of the campus designed by Paul Rudolph. During my time as a student at the College of Visual & Performing Arts at UMass Dartmouth, the art school fluctuated between a few logotypes, primarily switching between Frutiger and Helvetica—therefore lacking a true brand identity.
As I began my creative process for ARTMOUTH, I ceased the opportunity to iterate on a true brand identity for the CVPA. The geometric shapes replicate much of the building structures you see on today’s campus.
